ghost rider’s one of those characters i’ve not really cared about since i was like 15, but jason aaron’s current series is totally the tits. it made me realise just how high-concept a flaming skeleton on a motorbike actually is.
i still think goat rider would be cooler.
Jemma is never not awesome.. which means she is always awesome.
Woah you guys, I have the same birthday as Nicolas Cage. HOW COOL IS THAT?!
(ANSWER: VERY COOL)
Mike Wieringo’s layout sketch for his cover of Marvel’s “What If…” (final version to compare below). Scanned by me from the original art and subsequently passed to Jeff Parker (the writer of the book)
Tragically lacking in Nicolas Cage.
Ghost Rider, Red Hulk, X-23 & Venom by Stefano Caselli from an upcoming story happening in VENOM.
Rick Remender will be joined by Jeff Parker and Rob Williams as well as artist Tony Moore for a six-part Venom event this winter, taking place within the pages of Venom and featuring Red Hulk, Ghost Rider and X-23.
The idea for this story came from Rick and Jason Aaron trying to come up with a Venom/Wolverine crossover paying homage to the classic Walt Simonson/Art Adams “New Fantastic Four” story.
This story features the “2.0 version” of that Fantastic Four with Venom, X-23, Red Hulk and the new Ghost Rider
Gary Friedrich created Ghost Rider. He sued Marvel a few years back, claiming the rights to the character should’ve been turned over to him. Marvel recently counter-sued, saying Friedrich has been selling unauthorized likenesses of Marvel characters at conventions.
Marvel has a point, but it’ll set a dangerous precedent if they win their case. Dangerous for anyone doing sketches at a show and dangerous for us personally because we obviously use Marvel and DC characters all the time without permission.
Whatever, we’ll just draw everybody bangin’.
Star Wars: What if?!? “Ghost Speeder” by our friend, Andy MacDonald (@andymacdeez)
A spirit of vengeance from a long time ago and a galaxy far, far away…
Star Wars: What if?!? Week at Ashcan All-Stars

I’m not a dude who usually likes mash-ups, but this is dang clever.
