If you’re not already aware of the deals that Playstation Plus has to offer you over Xbox Live, here’s just another example of Sony doing some amazing stuff for their customers. Both Scott Pilgrm vs The World: The Game and Double Dragon Neon were both put out today as free downloads. While Scott Pilgrim was released in August of 2010, the latter is a brand new downloadable title that retails for $9.99.
With things like this, Sony’s making a good argument for killing off my Xbox Gold account.
I colored Chris Haley’s Scott Pilgrim… NEDROID STYLE.
As a first time ever doing it this way, I think it turned out alright. Not really great, but decent. This is less a “LOOK AT THIS MASTERFUL WORK” and more a “I just learned how to do this and this is the result!”
It was fun, and most importantly easy. I don’t know that I’d use this as my normal method of coloring, but it’s a nice go to and a different approach. I’ll certainly incorporate it into what I do.
The only thing that is missing from Nedroid’s Tutorial is the BRILLIANT “TRAP” method for capturing fills that Dustin Harbin uses. The Trap method has saved me countless hours of doing flats and what not. Considering my still is primarly flat, this was a goldmine of a find.
I GOTTA BELIEVE!! on Flickr.
I coloured this panel from Scott Pilgrim Vol. 3 to try to inspire/remind myself of what I have to do.
@thechrishaley drew a Scott Pilgrim. I made him Gambit.
Merry Mothafuckin’ Christmas to you all.
I GOTTA BELIEVE!
Here I have drawn SCOTT PILGRIM for you to color! YES!
You can print this out (full-sizes here) and color it with crayons or on the computer all fancy like if that’s your thing.
As always, sharing is caring, so if you like this or think other people you know might like to color it, reblog it or print it out and give it to them.
