Chris Haley is... THE ENTHUSIAST!
Remember this comic we did? Marvel, you can just put the check in the mail.
Comics Everybody: The History of Cable Explained [Comic]
It’s time again to break down the convoluted history of a comic book character in the recurring segment we call Comics, Everybody by Curt Franklin and artist Chris Haley of Let’s Be Friends Again. Today’s subject:Cable, one of the best known Marvel Comics characters from the ’90s, and currently preparing for his big return in next week’s Avengers: X-Sanction #1.
Here I have drawn everyone’s favorite part man, part machine, part from the future, part from the past, created by Rob Liefeld mutant, CABLE!
(He’s probably shouting his battle cry, “PLEASE DON’T SHOW MY FEET!”)
I originally used this art for a Comics, Everybody! at ComicsAlliance, but since I didn’t get to show the entire drawing, I thought I’d share it with you here.
Plus, this dude is just fun to look at with his gigantic gun and big ol’ arms and skinny little legs.
You can print this out (full-sizes here) and color it with crayons or on the computer all fancy like if that’s your thing.
Either way is totally fine with me, just be sure to let me know how it turns out by giving me a shout on Twitter or dropping it in the Submissions Box!
As always, sharing is caring, so if you like this or think other people you know might like to color it, reblog it or print it out and give it to them.

If you want to pretend he is shooting the Avengers to get you ready for X-Sanction #1, that is okay.
Chris Haley drew Cable. I colored him for fuVIPER BEAM VIPER BEAM HYPER VIPER BEAM
Yeah, my only exposure to Cable was one episode of the X-Men cartoon and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I’m sorry.
Once again, Joe has done an amazing job coloring something I’ve drawn!
Your favorite man on the street reporter, Clark Kent, is back with the question everyone’s asking this week: What is your New Year’s resolution?
A trio of awesome submissions by Ryan!
Not going to lie, the KISS Cable made me go…
