Chris Haley is... THE ENTHUSIAST!
The life of an Olympic Mascot is a strange one. Created in order to represent their home city during the Games, they tend to just fade away after a few weeks of
selling merchandiseactive duty. But with the news that London 2012’s Wenlock and Mandeville were starring in their own comic, we here at ComicsAlliance had an idea. What if all of the Olympic Mascots had gotten comics that were created in the years they debuted? How would a mid-90s story about Izzy or a grim and gritty ’80s comic about Sam the Eagle look? Would it be as awesome as we think it would?
The answer, provided by CA Senior Editor Caleb Goellner and artists Chris Haley and Daniel Butler, is yes.

Well it wasn’t really a comic, but Izzy was forever immortalized in a Super Nintendo game
